A partnership between Nuritas and Pharmavite to « transform » the food supplement sector

A new partnership in the preventive health market : Nuritas and Pharmavite join forces to discover new bioactive peptides using Artificial Intelligence technology. The aim of the research is to find ingredients with a more targeted approach in food supplements.

 

An agreement based on artificial intelligence

Since its creation in 2014, Nuritas has been combining artificial intelligence and biology to discover new ingredients. The agreement provides that Nuritas will use its artificial intelligence analysis technology to develop ingredients that address the most important health issues of the 21st century.

Pharmavite, on the other hand, is an American manufacturer of vitamins, minerals and food supplements. Based on its experience, Pharmavite will then formulate the newly discovered peptides in the form of consumer doses. Given the uniqueness of the peptides, the dosage form will depend on their characteristics.

The combination of Nuritas and Pharmavite makes it possible to innovate in terms of research into new ingredients but also to adapt galenic and dosage to each individual in order to better target current health problems.

A partnership that complements a series of similar agreements for Nuritas

This partnership is the latest in a series of agreements with companies in the food and nutrition sector for Nuritas. In December 2018, BASF introduced PeptAIde, the first bioactive ingredient discovered by Artificial Intelligence. Earlier in 2018, Nestlé and Nuritas have announced a collaboration that focused on the discovery of bioactive food-derived peptides based on artificial intelligence.
